I am looking for people that are really good at edits and gif making. :) Just message me either on there or here! :)"

Hi there! I personally wouldn’t be able to because I’m in the middle of a very busy school year but I’ll post this publicly so any Marilynettes out there who aren’t so busy can see this and message you if they’re interested! I just followed your Marilyn blog btw, it’s beautiful. :)

They are indeed! There’s no proof that she ever said any of them :)

Are you trying to kill me omg there’s so many beautiful ones. My favourite is probably the photographs which he took while she was having her hair and make-up done because my all time favourite Marilyn picture was taken at that time:

Anonymous asked: "•“I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.” I know she was un-selfish and wonderful but she was surely insecure thats wellknown fact. And that she was an addict is also a known fact, and all addicts are selfish at times. And if u cant handle me at my worst u dont deserve me at my best is rightly said if she said it."

Marilyn never actually said this, although it’s credited to her all the time, there’s no source, proof or reason to believe that she said it :)

Anonymous asked: "Plan her Christmas, a fun series of questions you might enjoy answering: Marilyn is alive with adopted children, Grandchildren and a great Grandchild on the way. What do you think her holiday plans might be like for Christmas 2012? What do you think she'd be serving? Where would she spend the Holiday at? Who all might she invite? Would it be an intimate family gathering or a big, lavish warm celebration with family AND friends?"

THIS IS THE CUTEST QUESTION EVER!

Okay, so I think that Marilyn would own a beautiful (- not necessarily huge or over the top, but nonetheless beautiful) house outside of any cities and that she would spend Christmas there. I think had she lived she would have eventually left Los Angeles, although I don’t see her moving too far away as I think the city life would have always appealed to her having been born and raised so close to the city. I think she would serve a traditional Christmas dinner (with her stuffing recipe which you can see here). Marilyn always had problems trusting people so I don’t think Christmas with her would have been quite intimate and family orientated, she loved to buy gifts for others so I think this would have carried on throughout her life and as long as she possibly could afford it she would get her family thoughtful, suitable presents which they would appreciate individually. That being said, Marilyn was a kind soul, had she a close friend who was spending the holiday season alone I don’t for a second doubt that she would have had them stay with her. I think Christmas with Marilyn would be wonderful!

I love this question omg ♥

1stredheadsrule asked: "I am collecting REAL MM quotes, and have thus far eliminated all of the fake quotes you have posted from my collection. Do YOU have any real Marilyn quotes, or do you know where I can get some without having to weed out the fake ones and be skeptical of the ones I have left. It is so frustrating because there are so many fake ones out there! Please help!"

Hi there! I’m glad you’re looking for real Marilyn quotes, so many people misquote her and even go so far as to get tattoos of these quotes. It’s really insane. I can most definitely provide you with some real ones! If you look both here and here you will find real, authentic Marilyn quotes from people who have sourced them - although I would wholeheartedly advice you to ignore any quotes associated with Robert/Bob Slatzer. Enjoy!

Anonymous asked: "I've just read those poems you linked in the ask below. I can't believe that as such an intelligent woman Marilyn was portrayed by the media - and still is today - as a 'dumb' blonde."

You sent this over a month ago omg I’m so sorry I’m replying this late.

I know! It’s utterly tragic, Marilyn was an intellect and that is overlooked so much because of the roles she played and things like that. It’s a tragedy that she is so underestimated in terms of how intelligent she was, she deserves more than that!

Anonymous asked: "If you had a choice to spend a solid week with Marilyn at her happiest or a few hours with her on her last night alive not knowing it was her last, which would you pick?"

Hi, I think I would choose her last night, I would try my best to comfort her and bring her even a little happiness in her last hours - even if I didn’t know it was her last night. I’d like to just let her talk, so she knew someone was there for her. Anyone can be a friend to someone during their happiest days but I think you really see who is there for you when you’re down, and I would most definitely be there for her during those times too if I could.
